Hannah came for a visit to share with us what she does at Glendene School and to show us the Calming Glitter Jar.  We learned how to take deep breaths to feel more calm and relaxed.

Read to Self

In our classroom reading program, we are working to build our stamina and be able to read to self for a longer time each day.

Summer Flowers

We have been planting flowers to beautify the outdoor areas by our classroom.

Cornwallis Beach Trip

It was a beautiful day at the beach.  Everyone enjoyed being together for this special event.  Thank you to all the parents and whanau who were able to join us.

Swimming

The children have had the opportunity to swim every afternoon.  Please remember to name your child's belongings so I can send home all items of clothing and swimming gear. 

Happy Birthday Celebrations

We celebrate Charlotte and Riyaad.  They had their 6th Birthday during the school holidays.

Constable Paul Introduces Himself

Constable Paul popped into class for a short visit to introduce himself to the children.  He told them that he is a Police Education Officer.  He is a teacher.  He teaches the children about 'Keeping Ourselves Safe'.
