Imaginative and Creative Learning

We watched Mana's Great Fish.  We made connections to Maui and ourselves.

Then we decided to build our own waka, make our own hooks and catch big fish!

We talked about our disappointment that the waka were not sturdy. Our ideas for next time were:

  • use strong glue
  • use duct tape
  • make it out of wood
We show curiousity when approaching new tasks and challenges.

Play-based Learning Excitement

We are very interested in building structures in our classroom.  We are problem-solving!  How do you leave your castle on display and make sure it doesn’t get broken?
Make a ‘Do not touch it’ sign.  Awesome thinking!

Happy Birthday Raydon

We wished Raydon a very happy birthday.  He is now 6 years old.
